I'm a proud New Yorker. And I hung this on my office wall behind me so it shows up in my video calls and meetings. It looks great in my background and I get a lot of comments about it. Call it good natured office ribbing. ;)I like that this is officially licensed and uses the correct official font. It is USB-A powered and has an inline on/off rocker switch in the cord. It did not come with a USB power plug, and there is no way to adjust the brightness. If there is a downside, it's that this neon is a little brighter than I like, but not enough to be a deal killer.The light is supplied by well diffused LED strips (not actual neon). Quality is good. It feels solid like it will last for years. Recommended.

This FC Porto LED neon sign is 🔥! The emblem looks so sharp with the 3D push through letters, and the beautiful glow makes the blue and white stand out perfectly. This is a beautiful, official "I Heart NY" neon sign. As someone who owns a few neon signs, this is one of the better ones out there.Firstly, this is well-made. The quality of plastic and light is solid. The size is 12" x 12", which can hang right on a gallery wall. Second, the image adds a graphic pop to any room.If there was one thing I could change, I wish I could change the brightness level. You can't make it brighter or dimmer. It's one brightness setting. It's a good setting, giving a vibrant glow without being overwhelming. But let's say you want this sign in a video, the brightness might throw off your lighting and make the overall image uneven. If you want it in your gallery wall, it might be too bright and stand out too much. Having a brightness setting would've definitely been a plus. 4.5 stars, really.Overall, when lit, this looks nice and official, and it will definitely show you're a fan of NY.
