5. Are these LED or glass neon signs? What's the difference?

We exclusively produce custom LED neon signs. LED neon signs utilize energy-efficient LEDs encased in flexible silicone, making them durable and safer than traditional glass neon signs, which are made from fragile glass tubes filled with neon or argon gas. LED signs are brighter, cost-effective to operate, and offer greater durability and color variety. They're easier to install and maintain, providing a more versatile and environmentally friendly option for modern lighting needs.

6. Are your LED neon signs certified?

Yes! Our LED neon signs are listed and certified to ensure the highest standard of safety and quality, carrying the legally required approval mark to be used across the country. Our signs have undergone rigorous testing by International Testing Laboratory and meet the strict requirements set forth by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association). This means you can trust that our LED neon signs are safe for both home and commercial use. Using non-certified electric signs can cause safety hazards and/or liability issues.

7. What LED neon light colours can I choose?

Select from 10 available colors for your LED neon sign: White, Warm White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, and RGB. You can mix and match different colors across the sign to create something truly unique. Send us your design and we'll show you what's possible!

8. Do your signs work outdoors?

Yes! Upon request, we can weatherproof our single-color or multi-color LED neon signs at extra charges so they can be used in outdoor environments. Please note that outdoor signs won't be equipped with dimmer nor remote control as those accessories can't be waterproofed. Our outdoor LED neon signs enjoy a 1-year warranty period.

9. Where are your products made?

Our production facilities spread across Canada, the US, Europe and Asia. Orders are routed to the most suitable facility based on the requirement and location. Most importantly, our signs are certified and made to meet CSA and UL standards governing electric signs. Quality and safety are non-negotiable for us.

10. Do you provide design services?

At Neonific, we offer free design services to all our customers. If you're looking for something unique, feel free to send us your own design and we'll work with you to bring it to life. Whether you have a complete design file or just a rough sketch, our team will help make it glow!

11. Can I create a custom design?

Absolutely! Custom designs are what we do best. Send us your artwork, logo, favorite quote, business name, or even a napkin sketch – we'll transform it into a stunning LED neon sign. Every sign we create is made specifically for you, in your chosen size, color, and style.

12. What file format do I need for my custom design?

We work with all kinds of files! Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are ideal, but high-resolution images (PNG or JPEG at 300 DPI) work great too. Even if you just have a hand-drawn sketch or a photo of something you like, send it over – our design team can work with anything.

13. Can you create my logo as a neon sign?

Definitely! We love turning company logos into neon signs. Most logos translate beautifully. If your logo has extremely intricate details, we might need to simplify it slightly since the LED tubing has a minimum bending radius, but we'll work with you to keep your brand identity intact.

14. What are the available backboard options?

Neonific offers custom neon signs with standard backboard options at no extra charge: contoured ("cut-to-shape") ideal for cursive fonts, and rectangular for block fonts. Additionally, we provide a variety of backboard styles including stands and boxes, available in multiple colors and finishes such as mirrored or glitter. For a minimalistic approach, we also offer a hollow-out ("cut-to-letter") option for the least visible backing. 15. How large can my custom LED neon sign be?

Our LED Neon comes in thicknesses of 6/8/9/10mm, with minimum letter heights of roughly 3-4 inches (7.6-10.2 cm) for standard fonts and 4-5 inches (10.2-12.7 cm) for cursive styles. For custom signs larger than 7 feet 8 inches by 3 feet 11 inches (2.34 m x 1.19 m), they'll be produced on two or more backboards. 16. What's the minimum size for a custom sign?

The minimum letter height is approximately 3-4 inches for standard fonts and 4-5 inches for cursive styles, depending on the LED tube thickness. This ensures your sign is bright, readable, and structurally sound.

17. How do I know what size sign to order?

Consider your viewing distance and available space. For home use, measure your wall and think about proportions. For businesses, bigger is usually better – customers need to see it from a distance. As a general rule: the farther away viewers will be, the larger your sign should be. Not sure? Send us a photo of your space and tell us your goals – we'll recommend the perfect size.

18. Will my large sign come in multiple pieces?

Signs larger than 7 feet 8 inches by 3 feet 11 inches (2.34 m x 1.19 m) are produced on two or more backboards for safer shipping and better pricing. Don't worry – assembly is straightforward and we provide clear instructions. The sections connect seamlessly.

19. Can I combine multiple colors in one sign?

21. What factors affect the price?

Several things influence pricing: the size of your sign (bigger = more materials), design complexity (intricate designs require more skilled handcrafting), number of colors, type of backing material you choose, special features like dimmers or remote controls, outdoor weatherproofing, and whether you need a freestanding base.

22. Is there a discount for ordering multiple signs?

Yes! We offer bulk pricing when you're ordering multiple identical signs or placing a large order. If you're outfitting multiple locations, ordering for an event, or buying in quantity, reach out and we'll work with you on volume pricing.

23. Do you offer payment plans?

For larger commercial orders, we can discuss payment arrangements. Typically, we ask for a deposit upfront to start production, with the balance due before shipping. For substantial business orders, we're happy to work out a payment schedule that makes sense.

24. Can I get a quote before committing?

Category 6: Order & Shipping

25. How long will it take to receive my order?

Custom orders are almost always delivered within 2 to 4 weeks once the order is confirmed. We ship with reliable couriers such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, and customers will receive tracking number(s) once the order is dispatched. If you require your order to be delivered by a certain date, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. Most other in-stock products are shipped within 1 to 2 business days and usually delivered within 2 weeks. While we strive to meet these delivery times, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to potential unforeseen delays beyond our control.

26. How long does it take to get my custom LED neon sign?

The current lead time for orders is approximately 8 to 15 business days, depending on design complexity and quantity. Once the order is confirmed, it takes 1 to 4 days to assemble the sign. Once completed, delivery takes an additional 3 to 8 business days. Please note, while we strive to deliver as quickly as possible, supply chain disruptions may occasionally extend these times. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to factors beyond our control.

27. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship our products all over the globe. Free worldwide shipping is included in the price for all of our products. We've sent signs to customers across North America, Europe, Australia, and beyond!

28. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free site-wide and worldwide. Depending on your location, brokerage and duty charges may apply. We always pay these fees for our customers, however in some circumstances, you might end up with an unexpected bill. If this is the case, simply send us photo proof of the duties amount at support@neonific.com with your order number and we will refund you the amount charged immediately.

29. I never got my order, what to do?

First, track your order from our Tracking page to see its current status. If there's an issue or you can't locate your package, call us at our hotline or email support@neonific.com with your order number. We'll investigate immediately and make it right.

30. How are neon signs packaged for shipping?

We package every sign like it's precious cargo (because it is!). Your sign gets nestled in custom-cut foam, wrapped in protective bubble wrap, and placed in a sturdy shipping box. We add fragile labels and "This Side Up" stickers. Even though LED neon is way more durable than glass neon, we take zero chances with your investment.

31. What if my sign arrives damaged?

If you notice any damage, take photos immediately and contact us at support@neonific.com within 48-72 hours with your order number. We insure every shipment and will either send replacement parts or create a whole new sign at no cost to you. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Category 7: Installation & Maintenance

32. What are the possible methods to install LED neon signs?

Two methods are available: (1) Wall Mounting Kit for a secure wall display or (2) Suspension Kit for an eye-catching hanging effect. Both methods ensure your sign shines brilliantly in its designated space. Choose the best method to suit your aesthetic and spatial needs. Installing is simple – we provide all necessary hardware and detailed instructions.

33. Do I need an electrician to install my sign?

Nope! Our signs simply plug into any standard wall outlet – no electrician required. That said, if you want the sign hardwired into your electrical system (hiding all wires inside the wall), or if you're installing a large outdoor commercial sign, you might want to hire a pro. But for 95% of our customers, it's a simple DIY job taking under 15 minutes.

34. What mounting hardware comes with the sign?

Every Neonific sign includes appropriate mounting hardware for its size and weight – typically screws, wall anchors, chains, or standoffs. We also include detailed installation instructions with photos. Everything arrives ready to install; you just need a drill and maybe a screwdriver.

35. Can I mount my sign on any wall type?

Our signs mount on virtually any wall surface – drywall, wood, brick, concrete, tile, you name it. The mounting technique varies slightly: drywall needs anchors (which we provide), brick needs masonry screws, wood is easiest. If you're unsure about your wall type, just ask us for specific guidance.

36. How to maintain LED neon signs?

Maintaining your LED neon signs is crucial for their longevity and continued brilliance:

Regularly dust your sign with a soft, dry cloth to prevent buildup. For thorough cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. 37. How do I clean my neon sign?

Category 8: Power & Energy

38. How much electricity does an LED neon sign use?

Very little! LED neon signs use about 80% less electricity than old-school glass neon. A typical Neonific sign uses somewhere between 10-50 watts – about the same as a regular light bulb. You can run your sign all month for just a few dollars in electricity. It's incredibly affordable to operate.

39. Can I leave my neon sign on 24/7?

Absolutely! Our signs are designed for continuous operation and can safely run 24/7. Many businesses leave theirs on around the clock. That said, if you want to extend the lifespan even further and save a bit on electricity, turning it off when you're not around is fine too.

40. What voltage do LED neon signs use?

Our LED neon signs run on safe, low voltage – typically 12V or 24V DC. This low voltage comes from a transformer (power adapter) that plugs into your regular 110V-240V wall outlet. The low voltage means they're incredibly safe – no risk of dangerous electrical shock.

41. Can I use my sign in a country with different voltage?

Yes! All Neonific signs come with universal power adapters that work with electrical systems worldwide (110V-240V). Whether you're in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else, just plug it in and you're good to go.

42. Can I add a dimmer or remote control?

Many of our signs come with a remote control for power, brightness levels, flashing capabilities, and speed adjustments, giving you complete control over your sign's look and feel. If you want dimmer capability, let us know when ordering. Note that outdoor weatherproof signs can't be equipped with dimmers or remote controls as those accessories can't be waterproofed.

43. Can I connect my sign to a timer?

Definitely! Just plug your Neonific sign into any standard outlet timer (available at any hardware store). Set it to turn on and off automatically – perfect for business hours, saving energy at night, or creating ambiance at specific times.

Category 9: Warranty & Repair

44. What's your warranty policy?

We offer a 1-year warranty for all our products. Our warranty provides a guarantee against manufacturer defects on the electrical components. All our products are subject to robust quality control. It does not cover blows, improper use, or other issues that are not attributable to manufacturer defects. In the event that our products are damaged during delivery, please reach out to us immediately and we will offer a replacement at no cost to you.

45. Do you offer extended warranty?

46. My sign is broken or I'm not happy with the design

At Neonific, we strive to ensure every customer is completely satisfied. If your sign is broken or the design isn't what you expected:

Report the Issue: Contact us immediately at support@neonific.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photos.

Broken Sign: We'll prioritize a repair or replacement. Our warranty covers damage and functionality issues.

Design Discrepancy: If the design doesn't match what you approved, we'll review your order specifications and design proofs. If there's a discrepancy, we'll rectify it by modifying the current sign or creating a new one at no additional cost.

Return and Refund: If resolution isn't possible, we'll guide you through our return process.

47. Do you offer refunds?

All Neonific sales are final. In the rare event that the sign arrives damaged/defective, with a typo, or the wrong color, we will replace the sign for you free of charge. Custom signs are made specifically for you, so we cannot accept returns on personalized orders.

48. Does the Infinity Mirror come with a warranty?

Yes, our Infinity Mirrors come with a one-year warranty on the electrical components, just like our neon signs.

49. How long do LED neon signs last?

Our LED neon signs are built to last 50,000 to 100,000 hours! If you use your sign 8 hours daily, that's 17-34 years of glowing goodness. We use premium LEDs and quality components to ensure your Neonific sign becomes a long-term part of your space.
